On December 6, 2019, the team of the Euro Strategy and the Social Investment Council visited Kherson on a working trip, where together with their colleagues, the team of the Social Movement Social Unity, they signed a four-sided Memorandum of Cooperation with the Kherson Regional State Administration, represented by the chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration Yuri Gusev.
The memorandum was signed as part of the development of public-civil partnerships to promote the reform and development of the social and economic sectors, the introduction and development of innovative tools and mechanisms for social investment, the development of social entrepreneurship and the social infrastructure of the region, to increase the level of human rights and the human development index, interaction and cooperation of representatives of the public, business and government to ensure sustainable development associations of territorial communities of the Kherson region, and other regions in the whole of Ukraine.
At this stage, in the aforementioned, all signatories understand the implementation of the large inclusive project “A country without barriers for deaf”, whose global goal is to eliminate the language barrier between hearing and deaf people, creating a full-fledged friendly social and infrastructural environment for deaf and hard of hearing people in Ukraine, to establish cooperation within the framework of the social crowdfunding resource platform “SIPstarter: SocialInvestmentProjects” - a national service for attracting and administering international and domestic extra-budgetary resources, which contributes to the implementation of the full project cycle and provides transparent financial reporting.
People with hearing problems can already take advantage of a simple and convenient service in the Kherson administrative services center, soon in the administrative services centers of the Novotroitsk Regional State Administration, Kakhovsky and Novokakhovsky City Executive Committee, as well as at the checkpoints of entry and exit of Chongar and Kalanchak, as part of the pilot and with the subsequent implementation of the ConnectPRO software product in all administrative service centers of the region.
